The chaplain’s office at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown offers pre-marital counseling services as well as counseling for families in crisis. Weekly religious services are held for many different denominations including Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Jewish as well as many others. To provide or perform religious support for all authorized personnel of NWS Yorktown, VA during peacetime and across the full spectrum of war in order to support the command in the facilitation of the free exercise of religion. To advise the command in matters of religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues in order to support the unit mission.
